OFFSET: ECO RAVE︎︎︎

SELF DIRECTED
2022

BRIEF

Create a promotional poster that folds down to an informational flyer about an event that an environmental organisation would run.

CONCEPT

Raves produce tonnes of waste. This poster design combats this as it is able to be folded down to a waterproof, biodegradable paper cup. The use of stickers featuring sustainable sentiments playfully undermines the perception of stickers as destructive plastic waste.

RATIONALE

OFFSET: The Cleanest Trip is an eco-rave, held on the night of Earth Day, offering a rendezvous for sonic bathing, and somatic expression. The event is 100% carbon offset with all materials being biodegradable, sustainable, and renewable, so nothing goes to landfill, or is wasted

I acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live, work, and create. + I acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live, work, and create. I extend this respect to all First Nations peoples, including Elders past, present and emerging. I also acknowledged that First Nation sovereignty was never ceded. This continent always was, is now, and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
